Fairgrove Property Management operates in four major Southern California markets and is rapidly expanding across the West.
Reporting to the Director of Maintenance Operations, the Regional Maintenance Manager is a player coach that oversees the maintenance operations of properties in their designated region and can perform work order tasks to assist as needed. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all maintenance personnel for multi-site locations throughout the assigned region and is tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
The Regional Maintenance Manager will be recognized as a leader for all multi-site maintenance staff and will actively participate in hiring, training, conducting work orders, and performance management initiatives.

- Compensation: $75,000 salary

Requirements Maintenance Operations Oversight:- Assist with maintenance operations oversight of properties within the assigned region.
- Oversee administration of ~ 10 direct reports, including timecard management, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
- Monitor and quality check of maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and repairs.
- Serve as escalation point to resolve matters for all stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Performing routine work orders 40% of their time.
- Serve as a leader and mentor for all maintenance personnel within the region.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and onboarding of maintenance technicians and porters.
- Provide ongoing coaching, support, and feedback to maintenance team members to promote professional growth and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Property Management team, and other stakeholders to address maintenance concerns and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.
- Act as a liaison between maintenance staff and upper management to convey feedback, recommendations, and updates.
- 5+ years of experience in property management maintenance?or a related field
- Proficient in using App Folio, or similar Property Management Software, and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook and Teams)
- Proven leadership skills demonstrated by successfully leading a team
- Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities
- Clean driving record and dependable transportation
