Material Handler II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and aerospace/defense industry, is seeking a Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production, inventory management, and shipping functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $18+ DOE*
* ** Shift:
** 6am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities to support production and business operations

+ Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, discrepancy analysis, and corrective actions

+ Coordinate material movement across departments including production, inspection, and shipping

+ Ensure accurate system transactions for inventory movements (receipts, issues, transfers, and shipments)

+ Oversee packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation to meet customer and carrier requirements

+ Review and validate work orders, blue cards, and system data to ensure alignment and traceability

+ Operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment (e.g. scales, bagging machines, barcode systems)

+ Generate reports and provide data to support inventory audits, KPIs, and management reviews

** What's Needed?*
* + 2-3 years of stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience

+

Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution

+ Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse transactions

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and system use

+ Prior experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace/ Defense environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
