• Experienced in sales or retail (luxury experience is a plus).

• Training Pay: $20.00 per hour for 2–6 weeks (no commission).
• After Training:
  Base pay $18.00 per hour + commission on written sales.
• Commission: UNCAPPED on written sales (3% on La-Z-Boy Design Sales and 2% on other sales).
• Post-Training Pay:
  Base + UNCAPPED commission plus potential quarterly bonus.

• Drives Sales: contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a superior customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills from approach to closing and follow-up.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of product features and benefits.

• Design Program: schedule professional home consultations and follow design guidelines.
• Support design-related functions in the store.

• Customer Focus: provide high-level service and positive customer experiences.
• Use Podium for customer satisfaction and follow-up.
• Handle customer issues with appropriate solutions and maintain responsiveness.

• People: train, coach, and develop team members to achieve sales goals.
• Promote a culture of sales and service.

• Operational Excellence: maintain store visuals, process orders, and ensure accurate records.
• Schedule deliveries, manage store opening/closing, and maintain standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous selling experience; ability to close a sale preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage time and priorities, work well in a team, and adapt to schedule needs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to sit, walk, bend and stoop; indoor environment
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
