Composition Brands is seeking a dynamic, results driven Dealer Support Specialist to support our Dealer network in partnership with the District Sales Managers (DSMs). This role focuses on delivering a frictionless experience through proactive dealer engagement and operational support. Ideal candidates will be customer-focused and solution-oriented while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and be comfortable with decision-making authority.
Key Responsibilities Sales Order Management- Process orders, track shipments, chase lead times and ETAs.
- Manage order-related questions.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams for order release, billing, and freight issues.
- Respond to dealer inquiries (product, pricing, specs, inventory).
- Manage returns, credits, RMAs, freight eligibility, & customer service escalations.
- Coordinate samples as needed.
- Act as the go-to resource for dealers with a responsive, can-do attitude.
- Conduct regular phone/email check-ins with the DSMs to identify opportunities and keep them updated on their accounts.
- Align and communicate efforts across sales, marketing, operations, and logistics.
- Assist DSMs with administrative needs around the Buying Groups.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Composition Brands products through regular training.
- Complete new product onboarding paperwork for dealers as needed.
- Stay abreast of product launch and sku rationalization timelines and transitions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of promotional program requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, account management, or business development (B2B/dealer-distributor preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Sharepoint.
- Experience with CRM/Warehouse Management Systems.
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and product training.
