Responsibilities:
To assist with the day-to-day store operation and sales performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. A Sales Floor Lead performsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbythe

Store Manageror Sales Floor Manager . Sales Floor Leads may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours.

• Toutethecashregistertomaketotalsales,accept payment;authorize voids,returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• Toensureproperrotation ofstore merchandise.
• Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessional performance.
• To stock thesales floor adequately. To create a positivepublicimageof Goodwill throughacleanstoreenvironment,attractivedisplaysandpresentable,personable personnel.
• Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheshopping areas.
• Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
• Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.

• Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerfortheweek.
• Toensurethefloorcheckiscompleteddailyandtoensuremonthlysafetyself- inspections are conducted.
• Toensureallnewhiresareproperlyoriented,usingtheappropriatemanual,within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.
• Toassistthestoremanagerincontrollingtheexpensetorevenueratiomonthlyandannually.
• Toassistintrainingandmentoringof Sales Floor Associatesandcourt -appointed community service workers, as assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• Toassistinsupervising,discipliningandrecommendingdischargeofsalesassociates to the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• Tomonitorandassist inthereceiving,pricing and displayingofstore merchandise.
• Torecordandbalancecashregisterreceipts,makebankdepositsandrecordstoretransactions.
• Toassistin thepreparationofpersonneland payrollrecordsin atimely manner.
• Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthe store.
• Anyotherjob-relateddutiesasrequestedbymanagement.

• Toassistthe Store Manageror Production Managerinachieving /exceeding production goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.
• Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayofpeople.
• Mustbeabletomarket Goodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneral public.
• Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance.
• Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long hours.
• Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hanging and zipping garments.
• Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching.
• Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.

• HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin English.
• Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustry preferred.
• Mustsuccessfullycomplete Retail training.
