Lawncare Technician - Part Time

Summary

This position is 16- 20 hours per week

The position involves performing routine lawn maintenance like mowing, edging, and mulching, while safely operating and maintaining equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, mulching, and trimming.
• Safely operate and maintain lawncare equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure lawns and landscapes are maintained to high standards.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally and courteously.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety. Ensures that duties are performed in a safe manner and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Custodial Project Manager - Letterkenny.

Education and Experience

• High School or GED equivalent preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Ability to operate and maintain various lawncare tools and equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactorily complete a motor vehicle check on an annual basis.
• Ability to pull a trailer safely.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Capacity to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, up to 50 pounds.
