As a Program Supplier Assurance Analyst at Raytheon, you will support our onsite Supplier Assurance personnel, working with our supplier base and internal stakeholders supporting critical and technically advanced Defense Programs. This position provides onsite supplier quality support to Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) product integration operations. This includes product inspections, first article verification, spot checks, supplier engagements and execution of Raytheon Source Inspection activities.

In this role, you will also work closely with Letterkenny personnel, Raytheon Supplier Assurance and Program, to coordinate inspections, help drive containment activities for nonconformances, evaluate Letterkenny identified nonconformances against technical requirements and provide inputs for quality metrics.

What you will do:

  • Perform in-process inspections and verification activities to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, specifications, and workmanship standards.
  • Conduct source inspections and execute AS9102-compliant First Article Inspection (FAI) verifications.
  • Partner with Letterkenny staff managing nonconforming material processes, including identification, documentation, disposition coordination, and communication with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of work areas
  • Support supplier requests for information and support Return-to-Vendor (RTV) actions to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Provide inputs to supplier quality metrics to drive transparency and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with a global Supplier Assurance team to support quality alignment, issue resolution, and adherence to standards.
  • Interpret and validate product requirements both internal and from sub-tier suppliers to meet PO requirements, Quality Notes, and Statements of Work.
  • Support continuous product / process improvements of our supply base by communicating performance issues and influencing decision-makers with recommended courses of action.
  • Provide defect data to supplier management for analysis, which will assist in developing Supplier improvement plans.
  • Engage on multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support containment activities associated with discrepant material, with assistance from functional stakeholders
  • Help drive the supplier corrective action process, review, approval and monitoring; assure containment, closed loop Root Cause Corrective Action is obtained; communicate issue and resolution to functional stakeholders

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience is in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and prior relevant experience.
  • Working experience within a Quality Division at a commercial, defense, or aerospace company.
