Whatyou'll do
- Lead and manage water resources projects including stormwater master planning, drainage design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Oversee the development of watershed studies, capital improvement projects, and stormwater management solutions.
- Perform and manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (1D/2D modeling) and drainage design.
- Design and oversee stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and NPDES permitting efforts.
- Develop and review contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, including proposal development and fee negotiations.
- Perform and oversee FEMA Letter of Map Changes and related studies.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members.
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Georgia preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Strong experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater management design.
- Experience with green infrastructure and low impact development practices.
- Experience with erosion and sediment control design and permitting.
- Proficiency in preparing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Arc Map, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and appropriately prioritize workflow.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to mentor staff and lead a high-performing team.
- Ability to perform field work including lifting up to 25 pounds.

On‑site:
Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.;
Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
