Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the clinic's appointment calendar.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details.
  • Coordinate patient intake and discharge processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and billing.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Handle patient concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required.
