The MARR Women’s Program is a long term treatment program for women struggling with the disease of addiction. We are currently hiring for full time, part time & PRN Behavioral Health Techs.
The position of
Behavioral Health Tech
has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women who have been affected by the disease of addiction. The position is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team that ensures the safety & wellbeing of the women we serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment; respond to safety concerns with proper inspections and documentation
- Monitor residents in a substance abuse recovery setting, observing and documenting behavior and progress
- Schedule activities and appointments; assist with daily living skills
- Transport clients to support meetings (e.g., AA/NA)
- Assist with client intake and post-admission support
- Document maintenance requests and conduct housekeeping inspections
- Supervise and support program participants during activities
- Track and manage clients’ personal belongings, including funds and cards
- Make continuous rounds of the facility, rooms and grounds to ensure overall safety.
- Supervise and observe clients’ self-administration of medications at designated intervals, recording details in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Communicate client needs to program staff and relay staff updates to residents as well as contribute to treatment team decisions and share relevant client information
- Promote a positive, supportive therapeutic approach
- Work collaboratively with the team, ensuring flexibility to meet client and program needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years old
- Experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders or relevant training preferred
