• Proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers ensuring patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care.
• Practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and supported through the Well Star Shared Governance Model.
• Practice governed by the Well Star Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing and evidence based practice and research.
• Uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.
• Uphold the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing (BSN preferred).
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or entitled to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment.
• National certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Experience with direct patient care.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to optimize technology to support clinical care; basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and customer service skills.i>
• Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively, calmly and respectfully.
• Excellent time management, evidence based practice, analytical and critical thinking skills.
