POSITION SUMMARY
St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a self-starter who would like to kick start their career in a fun and dynamic work environment. Your excellent customer service skills, keen eye for detail and friendly, hard-working demeanor will make you stand out.
As the Part Time Stock Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise
- Remove damaged, expired, or defective merchandise and report issues to management
- Pricing merchandise in accordance with established procedures
- Providing great experience for customers while donating, shopping and checking-out purchases.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly store and processing environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
- Comfortable with physical work, including moving furniture
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to push and pull carts or pallet jacks
- Enjoy detailed oriented work
- Are diligent and hard working
- Organized
- Can go above and beyond to meet the needs of customers
- Reliable and on time
- Previous retail and cash handling experience is a plus
