Customer Account Specialist

Job Summary

• Accounts Receivable support
• Post checks received from customers in customer accounts immediately upon receipt
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Data entry support
• Receive and input customer purchase orders
• Ensure accuracy of items, descriptions, quantities, pricing, and billing
• Confirm proper payment terms and shipping details
• Determine ship dates based on item availability and production lead times
• Complete order acknowledgment and confirmation process
• Determine shipping means and create shipping labels and packing lists
• Invoice customers upon completion of shipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested to accomplish company goals and meet established deadlines directed by the Accounting Manager or other Executive Manager Members

• At least 3 years of accounting experience, or 2 years of post‑secondary technical education with a minimum of 1 year of related accounting experience
• Strong technical proficiency, particularly in Excel
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Background in manufacturing is considered a significant plus

• High School diploma and 3 years of job‑related accounting experience
• Or two years of technical school or education beyond high school with at least 1 year of related job experience responsible for accounting related functions
