Our client is looking for a Sr Staff Accountant.
This role is onsite in Naperville
Looking for someone with 3-6 yrs experience ideally.
Duties- Maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial results within established timelines
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate possible variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely matter
- Support and coordinate external audits, ensuring readiness of documentation and compliance with audit requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and strengthening internal controls
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ yrs Audit, Accounting, Finance experience
