A large nonprofit CPA firm dedicated to providing exceptional audit and accounting services.
About the RoleThe Audit Senior will manage and execute multiple audit engagements simultaneously while building strong relationships with clients and serving as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities- Manage and execute multiple audit engagements simultaneously
- Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor
- Develop engagement timelines, budgets, and project plans
- Research and resolve technical audit and accounting issues
- Review and prepare financial statements and related disclosures
- Support engagement administration and audit procedures
- Assist with business development efforts and client growth initiatives
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff
- Maintain high-quality standards and ensure engagement completion within deadlines
- CPA certification or active CPA track preferred
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- Experience with Form 990 preparation and review
- ERISA audit experience considered a plus
- Experience with Quick Books and audit engagement software platforms
- CPA, GAAP, Compliance, Internal Control, Financial Statements, ASC 606, Audit Manager, Certified Public Accountant, Audit Senior, Non-Profit Audit, NFP, from 990, single audit, engagement, assurance, as 842, external audit, etc.
