Overview
The Office Clerk will perform general office duties in support of the daily functioning of Indoor Climate Research & Training. Duties include performing a wide variety of support tasks that require the use of sound judgment and initiative, and the ability to operate computer systems, databases and software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as the Internet.
Responsibilities- Provide general office support to the ICRT program
- Operate computer systems, databases and software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Demonstrate sound judgment and initiative in daily tasks
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills with students, visitors, and staff
- Professionalism and dedication to delivering excellent customer service
- Knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to research strategies to improve efficiency of computer applications
- Experience with office procedures and practices
- Clerical skills such as accurate keyboarding and file maintenance
- Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation; ability to compose routine correspondence
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to perform simple purchasing functions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Professional, collaborative, and positive demeanor with tact, respect, good judgment, flexibility, and a customer-service approach
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (flexibility needed to support the goals of the ICRT program).

Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay: $26.62 - $28.00 per hour
