Affiliate Relations Coordinator

Weigel Broadcasting Co. operates national television networks and local broadcast stations across the U.S. This role supports network communication and affiliate relations across our multicast channels.

• Assist and manage network communication and relations with 7 networks and 100+ affiliates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency situations using SOPs in a timely fashion.
• Keep updated records of contacts.
• Ability to react to evolving situations while managing multiple tasks.
• TV cable research analysis.
• Build strong relationships with local affiliate points of contact.
• Ability to work internally with department heads.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience working with multiple channels / networks.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email communication.
• Experience in Quickbase, Excel and S&P Global is preferred.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks on a deadline.
• The passion and knowledge of classic TV and ability to apply these to programming, planning and strategic thinking are key, along with mastering the mechanics of the position.
