Senior Product Manager - PPE

We are currently seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Product Manager to join our team, driving the growth and development of our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safety product lines. The Senior Product Manager will be the subject matter expert and responsible for business and portfolio strategy, product lifecycle management, tracking changes in market share, team execution, and working with our Channel and Sales team to deliver on our annual and strategic plans.

This is not a software, SaaS, platform, technical product management, or software development role. Candidates should have product management experience supporting physical products, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, safety, PPE, tools, equipment, or related product-driven organizations.

This position is based in our Elgin, IL US Headquarters and is a full-time hybrid position. The candidate must be open to working at the office a minimum of three days per week and additional days as required.

• Lead product management for assigned PPE categories including product development, market research, supplier negotiations, and strategy formulation.
• Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives.
• Own the Stage Gate New Product Development process from concept through commercialization.
• Present product strategies, innovation initiatives, and business cases to executive leadership.
• Manage multiple product development initiatives simultaneously while ensuring speed to market and profitability.
• Collaborate with suppliers on innovation, value engineering, cost optimization, and manufacturing readiness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas manufacturing partners, particularly throughout Asia.
• Serve as product expert, supporting customers, sales teams, and distributors.
• Serve as the product expert supporting customer meetings, sales team and distributors by participating in line reviews, product presentations, and industry trade shows.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
• Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 10+ years product management experience. MBA is a plus.
• Prior experience within one of our product lines. Safety, PPE or industrial focused products are desired.
• Demonstrated experience leading Stage Gate New Product Development programs from concept through launch.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a sense of urgency for delivering new products to market.
• Previous experience developing short- and long-range strategic plans for both business and product.
• Experience in working for a manufacturing or product driven company.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple product initiatives across regions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, global partners, and key stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
