Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout for large and/or complex projects.
- Manage project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and financial performance (P&L responsibility).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Drive risk management strategies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to ensure seamless project handoff and execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and company processes.
- Lead project meetings and provide executive-level reporting on progress, financials, and risks.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record managing large, complex projects (e.g., healthcare, institutional, commercial, or restoration projects).
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and forecasting.
- Experience with construction management, design-build, or negotiated work.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications (LEED, PMP, or similar) are a plus.
