Overview
The Valet Customer Service Attendant greets and assists patients and visitors. Provides valet services. Develops and maintains excellent public relations and customer service. Assists customers with mobility issues when entering or exiting their vehicles. Assists with maintaining traffic flow in entry areas to minimize congestion. Assists customers with utilizing the KIOSK for check‑in. Assists patients to areas in the building as needed and assists the Customer Service Liaison with patient transports.
Qualifications- Certifications:
Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS) - Work Experience:
Customer service
- Provides valet services.
- Assists customers with mobility issues when entering or exiting their vehicles.
- Completes incident reports on injuries and helps care for injured.
- Facilitates smooth flow of traffic at entrances to Carle on Curtis.
- Assists patients with unloading and loading their belongings needed for appointments.
- Oversees customer service needs and patient throughput.
- Alerts clinical team with any urgent or emergent patient needs.
- Assists patients with utilizing the KIOSK for appointment check‑in.
- Assists with customer service concerns, issues, and complaints by identifying the problem and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
- Reports the issue and corrective action to supervisor and will consult with the appropriate department leader as needed.
- Assists the Customer Service Liaison with patient transports as needed.
- Assists with patient transport to their appointment if the Customer Service Liaison is not available.
- Provides assistance to patients and visitors at the entryways of the Curtis building.
- Provides assistance to patients with mobility issues when entering or exiting the Curtis building.
- Maintains competency on all transfer/lift equipment and processes.
- Directs patients and visitors to designated areas within the Curtis building.
The compensation range for this position is $15.74 per hour - $25.5 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
