Dental Hygienist

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

About This Office

Creative Smiles
- Champaign is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our fun and friendly team!

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm
  • 2 Fridays per month 7:30am-1:00pm

Patient Schedule

  • 60 minute prophys and recalls
  • 60-90 minute SRPs
  • 90 minute New Patient appointments

Qualifications

  • Open to new graduates and experienced hygienists!
  • Active Dental Hygienist license in Illinois
  • Local Anesthesia certified
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Patient care experience and a passion for providing exceptional service
  • Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required
Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
