Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Floss Lincoln Park is a modern, growing boutique dental practice seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our supportive and patient-focused team. We are single doctor owned, not corporate dentistry.

We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about quality care, patient education, and being an active part of treatment conversations

This position averages 20–25 hours per week
.

The days are flexible and planned collaboratively month-to-month based on office needs; however, candidates must be available to work full scheduled office hours
, including evening shifts until 7 PM when scheduled
.

Friday availability is strongly preferred.

Typical office hours:

• Monday: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Tuesday: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Wednesday: 7 AM – 3 PM
• Thursday: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Friday: 7 AM – 2 PM

About the Role

We use an assisted hygiene model
, with trained assistants supporting patient flow and coronal polishing to help create an efficient and high-quality patient experience.

Our hygienists play an active role in patient education and co-diagnosis using:

• digital x-rays
• intraoral photography
• iTero scans
• CBCT / advanced imaging

We are looking for someone who is proactive in identifying concerns, educating patients, and partnering closely with the doctor.

Responsibilities

• Prophy, perio maintenance, SRP, gingival scaling, fluoride
• Digital x-rays and iTero scans
• Intraoral photos
• Periodontal evaluation
• Patient education
• Accurate charting and documentation
• Co-diagnosis with doctor

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RDH license
• 1+ year preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Team-oriented and proactive
• Comfortable with modern dental technology
