About this position
We’re looking for an Architectural Designer to join our in‑house Development Services team and help bring projects to life from early concepts through construction.
This role is a great fit for someone with 2–5 years of experience who enjoys both design and technical work, wants exposure to the full project lifecycle, and is looking to grow within a collaborative, in‑house environment.
You’ll work alongside our internal team and external partners on commercial, residential, and office projects, contributing at multiple stages and gaining hands‑on experience that goes beyond a traditional single‑phase role.
What You’ll Do- Assist in developing schematic designs for new construction and renovation projects
- Create drawings and visual materials to communicate design ideas
- Support coordination with internal teams and external consultants on code, zoning, ADA, structural, and MEP requirements
- Contribute to the preparation and organization of construction documentation
- Assist with material and system selections aligned with project goals and budgets
- Participate in site visits to support project progress and coordination
- Help respond to RFIs and provide design support during construction
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across development, construction, and operations
- Support early‑stage planning and site evaluation efforts
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Approximately 2–5 years of experience in architectural design and documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, and Excel
- Working knowledge of building codes and construction documentation
