PRIMARY PURPOSE

Evaluate and provide leadership for the curriculum & instructional department, implement instructional programs, and support effective teaching and learning across the district.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:

    Master's degree
  • Mid-Management Certificate or Principal Standard Certificate, preferred
  • Certified in Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS), preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction best practices
  • Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
  • Ability to manage budget and personnel
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures
  • Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience

Three years campus administrative or instructional leadership experience, preferred
