Elementary Special Education Teacher - Self-Contained

Pro Care Therapy is currently searching for a qualified Elementary Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts situated in the vibrant community of Northlake, Illinois. As aspecial educator in this role,you will be responsible for delivering specialized instruction and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique abilities of each student.

Description

• Full time
• M-F
• 37.5 hours per week
• Full 24/25 school year
• Self-Contained setting
• Elementary caseload - 2nd grade
• In-person
• Interviewing ASAP

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education andthen a Master'sdegree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Active state License w/ LBS1
• Active state Certification
• PEL
• Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

• 10-15 minute screening call with a Pro Care Recruiter
• 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a Pro Care employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
