Location: Harvard, IL
Program Manager Pay Rate: $20-25/hour (based on education and experience)
Program
Hours:
Monday‑Friday: 7:15 AM‑8:30 AM and 2:40 PM‑5:30 PM. Candidates must be available for all five days for both shifts.
Start Date: Mid‑July to complete a required, self‑led online training. An in‑person training will be conducted at the beginning of August. The full schedule listed above will begin with the start of the school year and will follow the district’s calendar.
You’ll Drive the Mission By:- Safety & Joy:
Exhibit role‑model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met. Support a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for staff. Keep site documents and licensing standards up‑to‑date. Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures. Ensure program tasks are completed effectively and coach staff to foster respectful relationships, promptly addressing challenges to maintain team cohesion and productivity. - Safety Assurance:
Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants. Identify and submit proof of MMR. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs and ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy. - Effective Communication:
Engage meaningfully with families, partners, peers, and children. Respond promptly to emails, texts, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust. Collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided. - Daily Routine:
Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
- Experience managing competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
- Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and the community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
- First Aid and CPR certification (in‑person).
- Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
