School RBT Position

Job Description

Blazer Jobs is actively in search of a School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join us on a full‑time contract basis within the Monekna, IL. In this pivotal role as an RBT, you'll be instrumental in nurturing the growth and triumph of special education students within our school community.

Requirements:

• Adherence to local and state regulations for RBT certification
• Demonstrated experience in working with special education students and their families (preferred)
• Dedication to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Engage with the school's diverse team to execute behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed for students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer direct, personalized behavior assistance and intervention to students in alignment with their IEPs
• Document and maintain accurate records of student behavior and progress, ensuring precision and timeliness in all documentation
• Aid in formulating and executing behavior management strategies in partnership with teachers and support staff
• Contribute to team meetings, collaborating with educators, therapists, and parents/guardians to ensure uniformity in behavior support across various environments
• Advocate and assist in the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) across the school landscape
• Uphold ethical standards and ensure confidentiality in all interactions involving students, families, and faculty
