Pro Care Therapy is actively searching for a qualified School Psychologist in Rodeo, CA that is seeking to join one of our trusted school districts for ESY and the  school year! Job Details

Location: Villa Park, IL

Start Date: NSY

End Date: 05/30/2025

Hours: 37.5 full time

Days: M-F

Caseload: 2nd and 3rd Grade

Responsibilities

Must be onsite; will not interview virtual candidates. In addition to special education evaluation responsibilities, the school psychologist is an integral part of the student services team in the building. The candidate will lead the MTSS team as well as the SpEd team in problem‑solving meetings and monitoring student interventions. They support our self‑contained life‑skills program through supporting behavior plans and instructional problem‑solving, and work closely with the SpEd staff on procedures and running IEP meetings.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required
  • Master’s in School Psychology is required
  • Must have School Psychologist Licensure in state of work
  • Teaching certificate with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
  • Knowledge on testing, evaluations, IEPs
Interview Process
  • 10-15 minute screening call with a Pro Care Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
