• Illinois Professional Educator License.
• Strong knowledge of the sport and ability to teach and develop student‑athlete skills.

• Effective communication skills with students and adults.
• Willingness and ability to work nights, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Willing to travel with the team to different locations for practices/games as needed.

This is a Differential position. The differential pay scale can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers. Coaches with 5+ years of experience are compensated at a higher rate than those with less experience. Employment is on an at-will basis.

This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after November 15, 2024, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.

The season for this sport typically runs from late November to mid‑March. Exact dates are determined based on IESA rules and the schedule for state events. More detailed questions regarding the schedule can be directed to the Athletic Director at the school.
