Job Description

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to partner with us for the upcoming school year. • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate support and accommodations
• Deliver instruction tailored to the unique learning styles and abilities of each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate records of student performance
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote their academic, social, and emotional growth
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom climate that values diversity and respects the individuality of each student
• Provide guidance and support to students in developing essential life skills and promoting independence
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required

• Possession of valid or pending Arizona teaching credentials for Special Education
• Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a similar educational setting
• Strong knowledge of special education principles, strategies, and best practices
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ability to design and implement appropriate interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs
• Organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate student records and documentation
