Classroom & Lab Assistant Pool-Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Hourly Rate: $15.00 -$20.18 depending upon qualifications. This position is an on-campus, part-time, up-to 19-hour appointment based in Champaign, Illinois.

The Classroom Assistant (CA) & Lab Assistant positions provide support to the course instructor to ensure effective delivery of the required materials and to foster a positive learning environment. Roles may vary depending on the course. The position will work on a schedule established by their supervisor. The CA & Lab Assistant must be able to work independently from written or verbal instructions and work well with instructors.

Career & Technical Education departments include Agricultural Sciences, Applied Sciences and Technologies, and Business, Computer Sciences and Technologies Applications will be kept on file through June 1, 2026.
