Position: ESL Teacher (Summer School) – Job
Location:
High School Summer School at Centennial High School, Champaign Unit 4 Schools.

Qualifications- Valid Illinois High School Professional Educator License with High School ESL Endorsement.
- Teach ESL curriculum to high school students during Summer School sessions.
- Be on duty from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with scheduled classes from 8:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Attend 1‑hour staff meetings on 1:30–2:30 p.m. each session (June 2, 2026 and June 23, 2026).
- Participate in professional learning on Monday, June 1, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Receive three hours of paid prep time at the start of each session and two hours for grading and finalizing on the last day (June 22, 2026 and July 13, 2026).
- Ensure classes run only if enrollment requirements are met.
- First session:
Monday–Thursday, June 2–22, 2026. - Second session:
Monday–Thursday, June 23–July 13, 2026. - Hourly pay: $40.00.
This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete. Interviews may occur after February 23, 2026. Submit materials ASAP for consideration.
