Position
Multilingual Learner Teacher/Literacy Program – up to 6 positions available (based upon student enrollment). Job .
Position Type:
Summer School Teacher – Elementary.
Location:
Elementary Summer School.
Positively transforming learning and life outcomes for students through educational justice, equity, and excellence.
Qualifications- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with ESL or Bilingual Endorsement.
- Strong background in teaching early literacy to multilingual learners with low language proficiencies.
- MLL teachers will work with MLL students to build their English language skills through cooperative learning and hands‑on experience.
- Program:
Monday–Thursday, June 3, 2026 – July 2, 2026. - Student contact hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Staff duty hours (paid): 7:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Initial required training (paid):
June 1–2, 2026, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. - Hourly pay: $40.00.
