- Valid Illinois High School Professional Educator License with High School Social Studies Endorsement
- This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after February 23, 2026. Interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration.
- First session runs Monday-Thursday, June 2, 2026 - June 22, 2026.
- Second session runs Monday-Thursday, June 23, 2026 - July 13, 2026.
- Student contact hours: 8:00 a.m.
- 1:15 p.m. - Staff duty hours: 7:45 a.m.
- 1:30 p.m. (paid) - Staff meeting: 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m., each session (June 2, 2026 & June 23, 2026). Teachers teaching both sessions attend the 1-hour staff meeting on June 1, 2026. - Professional learning:
Monday, June 1, 2026 from 9:00 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m. (paid) - Paid prep time (3 hours) at the beginning of each session, and 1:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m. for grading/finalizing on the final day of each session (June 22, 2026 & July 13, 2026). - Classes will only run if enrollment requirements are met, regardless of whether a position has been offered.
- These dates and times may vary for behind-the-wheel and ESY programs.
- Hourly pay rate: $40.00 per hour.

- Champaign Unit 4 Schools serves over 10,000 PreK-Young Adult students in 18 facilities, including twelve elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, one early childhood facility, and the Novak Academy.
