Part-Time Adult Education Advisor
Hourly Rate: $25.87
This position is an on-campus, part-time, non-exempt, up to 19 hours per week appointment based in Champaign, Illinois.

The part-time Adult Education Advisor will oversee the intake and assessment process and place students in appropriate classes. Advisors work with the Associate Director to establish and implement recruitment and retention strategies. This position is responsible for assisting students in overcoming personal and social barriers as they work towards career and educational goals. The Advisor is an hourly appointment on a schedule established by the Associate Director of Adult Education.
Some evening hours are required. The position involves exposure to confidential information and records. Often, minimal supervision is provided; the Advisor must be able to work independently, collaboratively, and accurately to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
