Extension Educators Coordinator 3, ANR/4-H – Champaign County

Department: FAES | Champaign County. This position is located in Champaign County.

This Program Assistant position is a split between ANR and 4-H. Works as part of the team in the Champaign County Extension office. This position, under general guidance, assists professional staff in : program planning and development, assisting in program promotion, marketing with proper branding and including the development of video recordings and editing, Facebook post and working with Champaign County Master Gardner Program.

There will be teaching with 4-H in the classroom programs and other non-traditional 4-H events and activities. Public relation duties may including answering phones and assisting walk-in clientele; program registration and program evaluations. Position requires some flexibility for evening and weekend hours.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Certification or vocational training may be required.
  • Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
Salary

The pay range for this profile is $16.65 - $21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
