Senior Project Engineer – Municipal

WhatYou’ll Do
- Take on a leadership role in delivering complex projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical quality.
- Lead and coordinate project design efforts.
- Apply engineering principles and judgment.
- Review and validate calculations, plans and reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Proactively address project challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth.
- Represent the firm in client meetings and presentations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Team player capable of operating independently when needed.

The base salary (or hourly rate) range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good‑faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
