They have a large scale automation program happening. They are mid-stream of the project right now. Automation transformation current installing auto store (storage and retrieval system integrated with robot arm). AMR and ASRS implementation. Lead by a program managed by engineering team supported by project engineers reporting to HM. Person joining this team will work with other groups.
Expectations:
Help with automation stabilization. As they go live with new segments of automation. Facilitating cross functional meetings. Host vendor calls with vendors that are part of this automation project. Need someone that can at least work 18 – 24 months.
Ideal candidates background:
Project management, logistics, warehouse automation. Will be working with local operations teams – safety and IT teams, operators on the shop floor. A blend of strong technical skills and change management skills. Automation implementation and stabilization.
Skills:
Automation experience. Autocad and 2d modelling experience is a must. Auto Store (desired).
