Salary Range: $55,500 to $72,000

This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline.

Our Energy Group at CEI builds projects from the field to the grid. Whether it’s a solar, battery storage, substation, EV charging, microgrid or converter station project, our skilled project managers, engineers and field employees deliver when it matters most. We`re seeking a Project Engineer ready to be on the front lines of a project--giving daily support to the field, project management, and customer teams. Our Project Engineers (PE) are vital in keeping our processes moving along and assists in the execution of project plans. This role will be responsible for specific activities such as coordinating material onsite delivery dates, maintaining RFI, submittals, and change order logs, and will serve as a key point of contact for internal customers.

• Act as key point of contact with internal customers for specific scopes of work.
• Participates with Project Management on the execution of estimating activities including project bids and change orders.
• Contributes to effective job start meetings and team meetings.
• Supports the team by coordinating material onsite delivery dates with the project schedule.
• Partners with CEI safety professionals to identify hazards and document.
• Maintains complete and accurate RFI, submittal and change order logs. Maintains an organized filing system and structure.
• Maintains current drawing log and distributes new information to team members and subcontractors.
• Maintains close out log. Requests relevant documentation and submits to customer.
