Position OverviewAs a Revenue Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in reconciling our POS system to various financial systems. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our revenue data. This is an in-office position, located in Champaign, IL.
What You ll Be Doing- Reconcile daily sales and revenue data from the POS system with accounting and financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between systems promptly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to improve revenue tracking processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation activities and findings.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to revenue, as needed.
- Strong affinity for working with numbers and financial data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to dive into issues without hesitation.
- Highly thorough and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Experience with POS systems and financial reconciliation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and Net Suite is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with multiple store managers in your assigned area(s) while being able to multitask, and stay calm under pressure.
