Overview
The Senior Finance Systems Analyst supports and governs assigned finance/accounting applications such as costing, productivity, benchmarking, budgeting, and related reporting tools. Responsibilities may include platform administration, configuration/profile maintenance, business rules, testing, data integrity, user support, system documentation, and analytics tied to those platforms. Responsible for system audits and reviewing application outputs to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely information. Capable of preparing comprehensive analyses to support decision making.

Supports and governs assigned finance/accounting application such as costing, productivity, benchmarking, budgeting, and related reporting tools. This includes administration and maintenance of profiles, business/costing rules, testing, data integrity, user support, system documentation, and analytics. Leads financial projects for the enterprise while leveraging and analyzing operational data from various sources to improve the performance. Builds and maintains dashboards, reports, and presentations as needed to communicate analytic insights through visualizations and presentations.
Capable of providing financial assessments and recommendations for operational departments leveraging data reporting tools. Assist with the month‑end close processes and analytical reporting to identify and explain variances. Builds relationships with operational leaders acting as a financial liaison for corporate accounting. Mentors new financial analysts and other organizational stakeholders. Leads projects to achieve corporate financial objectives. Ability to maintain monthly financial reconciliations as assigned.
Assists with ad hoc analytical projects, pro‑formas, and reporting requests. May include accounting functions including contractual allowance reserve calculations, identification of appropriate accruals, and broad understanding of income statements and balance sheet accounts. Supports system accounting and regional finance teams as needed.
The compensation range for this position is $33.72 per hour – $58 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
