Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment & Evaluation
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the sensory, motor, and functional needs of each student.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans
    • Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing academic and social skills.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for students.
  • Progress Monitoring
    • Regularly evaluate student progress, documenting outcomes and making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
  • Family Support & Training
    • Provide guidance and training to families to reinforce therapeutic goals in the home environment.
  • Professional Development
    • Engage in continuous education to remain informed about the latest evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure
    • Current state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience
    • Experience working with children with Autism and Learning Disabilities is preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and adaptive strategies.
