The Illinois Department of Public Health seeks a Regional Health Officer to oversee operations of the Champaign Regional Office. This position involves directing all regional program activities, interpreting and implementing department policies, providing leadership to regional personnel, and collaborating with local health departments to deliver public health programs across the Champaign region.
Key qualifications- Master's degree in Public Health or Public Administration
- At least five years of supervisory experience
- Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in health or human services
- Experience collaborating with local health departments and communities
- Strong project management, organizational, and oral communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
