Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, has an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources department. This individual will support the HR and Recruiting teams in our fast-paced environment with administrative tasks.
A clear employment verification and background check will be required for this role.
Responsibilities- Providing administrative assistance to the Human Resources and Recruiting departments
- Assisting with day-to-day operations and employee requests
- Auditing and maintaining employee files and HR systems
- Processing required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases and other related employment matters
- Assisting with the preparation of human resource reports, such as attendance, new hire and turnover reports
- Ensuring company standards, policies and procedures are maintained
- Supporting HR and Recruiting with their functions, meetings and special projects as needed
- Experience working in a professional office setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work individually and with a team
- Ability to handle yourself in a professional and unbiased manner in situations requiring discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple/changing tasks, priorities and deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Associate’s degree
- Experience running and organizing reports in Excel
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems such as UKG
Location: Champaign, Illinois (Hybrid work is available after completion of a training period.)
Job Type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Permanent
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources
Salary (for eligible candidates residing in the United States): The pay rate for this position is expected to be between $20.00 and $23.00 per hour.
