Employee Relations Specialist
The Employee Relations Specialist serves as a key partner in fostering a positive, respectful, and high‑performing work environment across the health system. This role leads and supports employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy guidance, while proactively driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.

Compensation:
Based on experience, starting $63,564.80. Estimated range $63,564.80 – $98,529.60.
- Analyze employee relations data (turnover, engagement feedback, exit interviews, trends) to identify risks and opportunities
- Assist in policy development, review, and communication to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
- Coach leaders to build capability in managing employee performance, navigating difficult conversations, and fostering accountability
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) to align employee experience strategies
- Demonstrate and promote adherence of the highest level to SBL Standards of Performance
- Develop and facilitate culture sessions, team interventions, and training aimed at improving engagement, communication, and team effectiveness
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices across the organization
- Lead thorough, timely, and impartial employee relations investigations, including documentation, interviews, and recommendations for resolution
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations activities and investigations
- Participate in organizational projects and committees that support workforce strategy and culture enhancement
- Partner in the development and implementation of engagement strategies and action plans based on employee feedback and survey results
- Partner with leaders to address workplace concerns and resolve conflict in a proactive and constructive manner
- Provide guidance and consultation to leaders on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, and policy interpretation
- Support organizational initiatives that promote inclusion, belonging, and a positive workplace culture
- Support system and department‑level retention initiatives by identifying trends, recommending strategies, and partnering with leaders on action plans
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
