Position Purpose
The Human Resources Coordinator provides operational support across the employee life cycle by coordinating HR processes that contribute to a positive employee experience. This role administers onboarding and offboarding activities, routine personnel transactions, benefits administration, HR systems, employee engagement initiatives, and departmental operations while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and effective use of technology to support HR processes and exceptional service delivery. Working collaboratively with the Office of People and Culture team, the HR Coordinator supports compliance with established policies and procedures and contributes to the efficient delivery of HR programs and services.

- Provide support to the planning and implementation of employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives.
- Provide assistance in the organization of events, activities, and communications that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Gather and report feedback on engagement efforts to inform future programs.
- Prepare onboarding checklists; schedule orientations; ensure completion of employment forms, I-9, and required trainings.
- Coordinate with IT, Payroll, and department admins to provision accounts, equipment, and workspace; confirm readiness Day 1.
- Facilitate offboarding checklists (access removal, equipment return, exit interview scheduling); ensure timely completion.
- Record and audit onboarding/offboarding artifacts in HRIS and electronic personnel files; correct discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor first-year experience surveys and offboarding exit surveys; elevate issues and propose improvements to the Asst. VP.
- Track completion and supervisor submission of annual reviews and any formal performance feedback (midpoint or quarterly checks);
Provide status updates and elevate any issues to the HRGs.
- Process routine HR transactions throughout the employee life cycle, including new hires, promotions, job changes, compensation adjustments, personal data updates, and separations;
