- Build trusted relationships with US leaders, managers and employees, acting as their first point of contact for people matters
- Translate business plans, workforce needs and organisational risks into practical people plans
- Coach managers through team dynamics, feedback, employee development and sensitive conversations
- Manage employee relations matters with sound judgement, appropriate documentation, confidentiality and consistency
- Provide guidance on applicable US federal, state and local employment law, company policy and HR best practice
- Engage Legal or external counsel where needed
- Support managers on performance, conduct, probation, grievance, leave and reasonable‑accommodation matters
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance and the global People team on workforce planning, talent, reward and organisational change initiatives
- Use people data and employee feedback to identify trends, mitigate risks and improve employee experience
- Contribute to scalable policies, processes, manager guidance and local engagement initiatives across the US business
- Support the growing US business as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, managers and employees
- Combine strategic business partnering with hands‑on delivery across employee relations, performance, organisational change, employment‑law compliance and employee experience
- At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role with significant business-partnering responsibility
- Working knowledge of US federal, state and local employment law
- Experience managing employee relations and advising managers on performance and sensitive people matters
- Strong stakeholder-management, coaching and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and balancing strategic priorities with hands‑operational delivery
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using HRIS and people data
- Discreet, proactive and highly organised, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
- Authorised to work in the United States
- Strong communication, empathy and relationship-building skills
- Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach to career development and innovation
Demonstrates expertise in HR Business Partnering, employee relations, and compliance with US employment law, while effectively utilizing people data to enhance employee experience and organization performance.
