PMO Consultant / Transformation Advisor

Duration: 6+ Months (initial 12-week sprint, with extension potential)

Location:

Champaign, IL

Work Model:
Hybrid (Onsite & Remote)

Onsite: 2-3 days/week (50% onsite during initial phase)

• Lead enterprise transformation initiatives across strategy, operations, and technology
• Design and deliver an initial 12-week transformation sprint plan, with extension potential
• Establish and run PMO governance, cadence, and execution discipline
• Build durable operating mechanisms including:
  • Steering committees (Steer Co)
  • Dashboards & reporting
  • Risk & issue management
  • Communication rhythms and accountability frameworks
• Identify and address GTM, commercial, and operational inefficiencies
• Support leadership alignment, cultural change, and organizational upgrades
• Navigate real-world constraints such as manual processes, legacy systems, and performance gaps
• Toggle between strategic advisory and hands-on execution as needed

• 15+ years of relevant experience with visible transformation leadership
• Strong background in telecom, fiber, broadband, or property-owner services
• Proven PMO build-out and change management success
• Experience at a reputable consulting firm preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives (commercial, operational, and technical)
• Experience with business model transitions (JVs, divestitures, strategy resets, software enablement)
• Strong executive presence with client-facing advisory experience

• Minimum 6-month commitment
• Willingness to be onsite in Champaign, IL 50% during initial phase (minimum 25% ongoing)
• Ability to start quickly
