We are seeking an experienced Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Administrator to lead enterprise administration, governance, and optimization of our modern analytics platform. This role is responsible for managing the Power BI tenant, Microsoft Fabric workloads, Azure data integrations, security governance, and performance optimization across enterprise-scale environments.
The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Power BI Premium, Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, One Lake), and Azure data services
, with a strong understanding of governance and enterprise BI architecture.
? Power BI & Fabric Administration
Administer and manage Power BI tenant settings, Premium capacities, and workspace governance
Manage Microsoft Fabric capacities and workloads (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics)
Configure and monitor One Lake data storage environments
Manage deployment pipelines and lifecycle management across Dev/Test/Prod
Oversee semantic model governance and dataset certification processes
Integrate Power BI and Fabric with:
Configure and manage Azure Active Directory security groups and RBAC
Monitor data flows between Azure services and Fabric workloads
? Security & GovernanceImplement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)
Enforce enterprise data governance and sensitivity labeling
Configure Conditional Access and tenant security policies
Monitor audit logs and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
? Performance & Capacity OptimizationMonitor Power BI Premium and Fabric capacity metrics
Optimize large semantic models and incremental refresh strategies
Identify bottlenecks in DAX queries and model design
Manage Fabric workload balancing and cost optimization
? Dev Ops & AutomationImplement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub
Automate administrative tasks using Power Shell and REST APIs
Support source control integration for Power BI and Fabric artifacts
Manage version control and release management processes
? Monitoring & ReportingUsage metrics
Capacity performance
Adoption tracking
Security monitoring
Proactively resolve service health issues
Provide executive-level reporting on BI platform performance
Required Qualifications6+ years of experience administering Power BI in enterprise environments
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric (required)
Strong hands-on experience with:
Power BI Service & Premium
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Engineering workloads)
One Lake architecture
Experience with Azure resource management and RBAC
Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning
Experience managing enterprise-scale BI (500+ users)
Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certified:
Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Finance, Government)
Experience with :
Delta Lake architecture
Familiarity with FedRAMP / HIPAA / SOC2 environments
Technical SkillsCore Platform:
