Govig Healthcare Group has partnered with a mission-driven hospice organization based in the Midwest seeking an experienced and visionary President to lead the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of the organization. This executive will partner closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team to drive sustainable growth, ensure exceptional patient care, and foster a culture centered on compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished healthcare executive with a strong background in hospice leadership, multi-site operations, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for all aspects of hospice operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic initiatives that promote sustainable growth, operational excellence, and exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the executive leadership team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing organizational culture.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and expense management to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards governing hospice services.
  • Monitor quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient and family satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with referral sources, health systems, physician groups, community organizations, and other strategic partners.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, acquisitions, and new service offerings where appropriate.
  • Serve as the organization's primary ambassador within the healthcare community and represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required;
    Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Progressive executive leadership experience within hospice, home health, post-acute care, or healthcare services.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations and managing complex healthcare organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, operational performance, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of hospice regulations, Medicare reimbursement, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence.
